Connect your Meebly agents to Slack and let your team interact with your AI agent directly from any channel.
Overview
Slack Integration allows your AI agents to respond to messages in Slack channels automatically. When a team member mentions your bot in a channel, Meebly receives the message, processes it with your agent, and posts the response back to Slack.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, you'll need:
- Slack Workspace: You must be a member of the workspace where you want to install the bot
- Workspace Admin Access: Installing a Slack app requires admin or app-management permissions
- A Meebly Agent: An active agent to connect to your Slack workspace
Setup Steps
Step 1 — Open your Agent's Integrations tab
In the Meebly dashboard, navigate to your agent and open the Integrations tab. Click the Slack card.
Step 2 — Connect with Slack
Click Connect to Slack. You'll be redirected to Slack's OAuth authorization page. Review the requested permissions and click Allow to install the Meebly bot into your workspace.
Step 3 — Invite the bot to a channel
After connecting, invite the Meebly bot to any Slack channel by typing /invite @Meebly in that channel.
Testing Your Integration
Once connected, test the integration by @mentioning the Meebly bot in a channel where it has been invited. The bot should respond within a few seconds.
Tip: Start with a simple message like "Hello!" to confirm the connection is working before testing more complex queries.
